Istria is very nice. Mainly tourist run from Ljubljana directly to Dubrovnik, sometimes they stop in Pula, but nevertheless Istria is worth seeing.

Since towns in Istria in early September are still quite full of turists I haven’t stayed too much time there. I rather escaped to calmer places, but nevertheless, the towns are beautiful and you should visit them.
