This is the lake on the Italian side of the Julian Alps. Beautiful, refreshing and almost deserted.

Perfect for swimming!

Yes, this is the famous Bled!
This year we are celebrating 25th anniversary of festival called Druga godba. Its goal is to bring good artists from all around the world to Ljubljana. So called World music festival in its third night in Križanke, open theater designed by our most famous architect J. Plečnik, hosted 3 artists.
First Casuarina Brazilian group was preforming world famous samba. After them we saw a Slovenian group that also plays samba called Bossa de novo (Which looks to me as a mistake!? Dear Portuguese speakers…is it correct or it should be Bossa do novo??). One might ask how come the organizer chose to put first the original and then fake. The answer lies in: ” How to persuade people to come early enough to see all three artists?”
From Mali came Ouomu Sangare west African music queen that truly rocked the place! This was the most dancy concert this year at this festival. Beautiful!

Na Wikipediji pravijo takole: There has been a lot of construction in the city centre in recent years, including the award-winning Future Systems‘ Selfridges building.

Yes, there is a lot of dancing in Birmingham, actually we had more chance to dance than in Belgrade. Anyhow, I am publishing a few pictures to give you a feeling how it looked like.
Outside was really crowded.

Not only a lot of cars, it was also full of crazy half naked chicks. Don’t forget it was maybe 5°C! Just to show you the thing is serious I am publishing this photo. At the front two Slovene guys, used to cold weather and at the back two ladies from there.

What I love in UK are options to go out. We’ve been to Seventies disco!!! The atmosphere and music was great. DJ was el capitano, guy in his fifties that really new well the seventies!

The view up was incredible.

And so was the look at the floor. I felt like John Travolta in Saturday’s Night Fever (click for video).

Of course, let us not forget this is UK, selling and buying are essential.

The Guardian, one of the largest newspapers in the UK, wrote about Spotted by Locals cityblogs and among the articles picked 10. Mine was also chosen!!!
